Outstanding for such a small interface.

Wish though it provided more detail when zooming in.

..But it crashed IMMEDIATELY!!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!! I help out in an ESL classroom. I need a good atlas app that can work with my ipod when I am not near a wifi connection. Anyone have any ideas? The National Geographic atlas app requires internet connection, and this one doesnt work.. at all.

I use it when I read the newspaper. I love how easy and fast it is. Works great.

This is the perfect atlas for a map junkie! The geographic and government maps are clear, colorful and beautiful. You can zoom in on the world maps for a closer look. Tapping on a country on the world map takes you to the individual map for even more detail. I used it during a river cruise in France and found it very useful, especially since it is fully loaded on my iPhone so no need to go on line while abroad. The included Fact Book is a great bonus with fun and interesting facts on each country. The only negative is that even on an iPhone 4gs the maps load a little slow, but it is worth the wait for these maps. A true atlas just like the "old" book ones, and in the palm of your hand.

While a bit slow loading, this is the best map app Ive found so far. If youre a serious puzzler or work with young people on schoolwork, this is a must have app.

Pros: Fully offline data set. Includes the CIA World Factbook. Vector graphics are crisp. Cons: Roads are all shown as identical-looking lines. I only saw names on US interstates. Slooooooooooow. Even on a 4S. You wont believe how slow it is. Weird font. Maps dont show topography nearly as well as NatGeo. Not worth $3 as it is now. Save your money.

I expected a lot more from a paid app. I have free atlas apps that are far better than this!

Any positive review had to strictly come from friends of the developer. There is no detail to the maps beyond basic shape of the country when you try to zoom in ... A pathetic ripoff! Please do not waste your $3, as I just sadly did.

Please update the app for it doesnt iPhone 5 display and it is very slow!

More information than google earth, but is missing some fundamentals which make it frustrating to use.

Without any doubt , its the most useful and user friendly geography app ever! Just try it once, youll find that out...

Simple. Easy to use. Informative. Updated every year with the latest information. Ive been using this app for years and is always one of the first that I transfer over onto new devices. I only wish there was a search option.

Ive searched for an offline atlas for nearly a year now, and out of whats available, this is probably the best. Still has room for improvement, but its pretty great.

There isnt much information on these maps. Only the very largest rivers and bodies of water are on the main map, but it lacks really important labels (like the Adriatic Sea). Its easy to navigate, and nice enough looking, but this is not a serious atlas.

Good app with fairly detailed maps. Could be a "replacement" for National Geographic app since the demise of NGs High Definition maps. Some cities use incorrect spelling and/or characters in the font theyre using. In fact, it looks silly.. However, they do not respond to repeated emails? Ive emailed their support several times pointing out the errors and making suggestions on how to correct those errors - not a single response. Pretty disappointing.
